Horizon Slashes Billings Business Fares

SEATTLE, Sep 23, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Horizon Air is helping get Billings business travelers back in the air by reducing business fares from Billings by up to 60 percent.

The price reductions apply to Horizon's nonstop jet service from Billings to Seattle, as well as from Billings to dozens of other cities served by Horizon in the Northwest and Canada.

"This isn't a limited-time special but rather a dramatic cut in the price of tickets most often used by business travelers," said Patrick Zachwieja, Horizon Air's vice president of marketing and planning.

For example, business fares to Seattle that were $286 to $445 one-way are now $190 to $210.(a) No advance purchase is required and tickets at these fares can be changed or refunded at no extra charge. These price levels also apply to Horizon's new nonstop jet service from Billings to Portland that starts Oct. 27.

Horizon Air serves 42 cities throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, Colorado, Arizona, British Columbia, and Alberta. Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines are subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group, Inc. (NYSE:ALK).
