Horizon Air To Offer Ski Season Flights From Los Angeles to Big Sky, Montana

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2002--Horizon Air announced today that it will offer nonstop jet service between Los Angeles International Airport and Bozeman/Big Sky, Mont. with one flight each way on Saturdays from Dec. 21, 2002 to March 22, 2003.

Currently no other airline offers nonstop service between Los Angeles and Bozeman.

Northbound service will depart Los Angeles at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in Bozeman at 5:35 p.m. Southbound service will depart Bozeman at 6:15 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 7:53 p.m. Flight time each way will be about two hours and 30 minutes. The service will be operated with new, 70-seat CRJ-700 regional jets.

Big Sky Resort near Bozeman offers one of the highest vertical drops of any ski area in the U.S., with an average annual snowfall of more than 33 feet. Big Sky has 150 runs covering 85 miles on three separate mountains to delight skiers and snowboarders.
