Horizon Air Cuts Sun Valley Fares for Off-Season Travel

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 2002--Travel to Sun Valley during the off-season and save with new specials from Horizon Air.

These special rates apply to most cities served by Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines throughout the western U.S. and Canada for travel April 1 through June 13, 2002.

"The off-season is a good time to fly to Sun Valley and enjoy great savings off our lowest regular fares," said Pat Zachwieja, vice president of marketing and planning.

The following sample prices are each way, based on a round trip purchase:

    (a) For travel to Seattle, no advance purchase or minimum stay is
        required.

Sale fares must be purchased at least seven days before departure, and a two-night minimum stay is required. Tickets are non-refundable.

Horizon Air has served Sun Valley since 1982. Horizon operates flights to 41 cities throughout Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, California, Arizona, Alberta and British Columbia. On April 1, Horizon will begin service to San Francisco and San Diego from Boise, and on April 28 will begin service to Denver from Portland and Boise. Horizon and Alaska are subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group, Inc.

Fares do not include the following taxes and fees charged on a per-person basis: Airport passenger facility charges of up to $18 (amount depends on itinerary), Federal segment tax of $3 per segment (take off and landing) on itinerary, and September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement (up to $10). All tickets may be changed for a $50 fee, plus any applicable changes in fare. Seats are limited and may not be available on all days, especially on peak travel days. All fares are subject to change without notice and other restrictions apply.
