Alaska's Third Daily Nonstop Between Seattle and Washington, D.C., to Begin Sunday, June 9

SEATTLE, Jun 7, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Alaska Airlines will launch its third daily nonstop flight between Seattle and Washington, D.C., this Sunday, June 9, with the addition of a second flight to Dulles International Airport.

The carrier currently operates one daily nonstop flight to both Dulles and Washington Reagan National airports.

The new flight will add an early morning departure from Dulles and late evening departure from Seattle, providing convenient connecting service to and from other cities throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, as well as California and Western Canada.

Flight times for Alaska's new and existing service between Seattle and Washington are:

        Alaska Flight 3: Departs 5:05 p.m.; Arrives 8:05 p.m.

        Alaska Flight 1: Departs 8:59 a.m.; Arrives 11:55 a.m.
    --  FROM SEATTLE TO DULLES INTERNATIONAL

Earlier this spring, Alaska introduced nonstop service from Seattle to Boston with one daily flight and to Denver with three daily flights.
