SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 2003--Alaska Airlines is introducing a capital idea with its new vacation packages to Washington, D.C.

Visitors can now enjoy the convenience and savings of a package that includes hotel accommodations, airport transfers, calling cards, guide maps and an array of optional tours that include the U.S. Capitol, the Vietnam Memorial, Arlington Cemetery and a host of other sites. To introduce the service, Alaska Airlines is offering Mileage Plan members 3,000 bonus miles in addition to the actual flight miles. To receive bonus miles, travel must be booked online by June 30 and travel completed by Sept. 13.

Alaska Airlines Vacations offers packages for a wide range of budgets and includes a selection of hotels located near the Mall, Georgetown and Rock Creek Park, as well as a variety of airport transfers, including luxury sedans.
